FASTinov was present at the 33rd ECCMID in Copenhagen, Denmark
FASTinov was present at the 33rd European Congress of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, which took place in the Bella Center, in Copenhagen, Denmark, on April 15-18.
As is customary for the largest European congress in the field of infectious diseases and clinical microbiology, the venue was full with leading experts in the area eager to learn about the company’s technology and how the product and the company have evolved since the past year. Antimicrobial resistance is a critical issue that appears to be increasing in importance with each edition of the congress, becoming ubiquitous in the scientific programme and the industry symposia. Bloodstream infections and sepsis are critical conditions that require a fast, accurate, and innovative diagnostic solution. FASTinov ultra-rapid AST kits provide an antibiogram in 2 hours directly from positive blood cultures, making it possible to deliver results on the same day for most positive blood cultures
Besides stand number 32, FASTinov’s technology was also present in three scientific posters that were presented at the congress. We’d like to thank everyone who visited us and attended the poster sessions, and we hope you have learned more about the company and its technology.
FASTinov developed ultra-rapid, phenotypic antibiotic susceptibility tests for bloodstream infections that deliver antibiograms in less than 2 hours, based upon patented technologies. The company is based in Porto, Portugal.
