On June 1-3, FASTinov was present at the 26th Congress of the Sociedad Española de Enfermedades Infecciosas y Microbiología Clínica, that took place in the Palacio de Congresos y Exposiciones de Galicia, in Santiago de Compostela, Spain.
The importance of improving bloodstream infection diagnosis and reducing the time until results was a recurring matter of discussion both in sessions and symposia, as the unrelenting increase in antimicrobial resistance continues to complicate effective treatment and clinical outcome. The event was overflowing with leading clinicians in the field of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology, to whom we were glad to present our revolutionary Antimicrobial Susceptibility Test capable of providing an antibiogram directly from positive blood cultures in an unprecedented timeframe of 2 hours.
