FASTINOV initiated commercial activities in Europe with the progressive introduction of FASTgrampos, FASTgramneg and FASTcolistin for ultra-rapid bloodstream-infection antimicrobial susceptibility testing.
From technology to availability
The launch represented a transition from technology development toward commercial access. The products were designed to support rapid phenotypic susceptibility testing for different clinical microbiology applications, with the aim of providing information earlier in the diagnostic pathway.
Supporting the European market
Commercial expansion requires more than product availability. It also involves laboratory education, implementation support, appropriate validation and collaboration with local partners so that each site can assess the workflow within its own clinical and regulatory context.
