Congress participation allowed FASTINOV to explain the principles behind its ultra-rapid phenotypic antimicrobial susceptibility testing and to discuss the evidence supporting faster reporting from positive blood cultures.
Building conversations around implementation
ECCMID also provided a setting for conversations with clinicians, researchers, laboratory professionals and industry partners. These discussions addressed the practical conditions required to integrate rapid AST into existing microbiology services.
